During the camp, there will be a dedicated opportunity for instructors and owners of outdoor companies to showcase their work and share their achievements, innovations, and unique approaches to bushcraft and outdoor education. This platform allows participants to present their projects, highlight what sets their business apart, and discuss the challenges they face. It's also a chance to seek collaboration, ask for advice, and explore potential partnerships with like-minded professionals. Whether you're looking for guidance on expanding your business, need help with specific skills, or are interested in forging new connections within the industry, this session is designed to foster mutual support and growth within the outdoor community.
As the evening settles in we'll gather around a communal fire - the heart of our camp - where the warmth of the flames will bring everyone together for an evening of socialising. The fire serves as a natural gathering point, fostering conversation among participants. It's a place where we can share experiences, exchange ideas and enjoy the timeless tradition of fireside chats. Whether you're sharing your latest bushcraft tips, telling tales of past adventures or simply enjoying the company of fellow outdoor enthusiasts, the communal fire creates a welcoming space for connection and friendship under the trees.
Participants are required to bring their own camp food for the overnight experience, allowing everyone to enjoy meals that suit their personal tastes and dietary needs. This self-sufficiency adds to the authenticity of the woodland camping experience, encouraging participants to practice outdoor cooking skills and share culinary tips around the communal fire. Additionally, each attendee should bring their own personal camping equipment, including a tent or shelter, sleeping bag, and any other gear necessary for a comfortable night in the woods. By bringing your own provisions and gear, you'll be fully prepared to immerse yourself in the natural environment, ensuring a memorable and self-reliant outdoor adventure.
This overnight woodland camp also offers a much-needed opportunity for outdoor instructors to relax and unwind after a busy summer season. After months of guiding, teaching and leading others in the outdoors.
This gathering provides a chance to step back, enjoy the serenity of the woodland setting and reconnect with nature on a personal level. It's a time to recharge, away from the pressures of work, while surrounded by fellow instructors who understand the demands of the job. Whether you're sharing stories by the fire, exploring the woods at your own pace, or simply lying back and gazing at the canopy. This camp is the perfect way to chill out, reflect on the season and prepare for new adventures ahead.
