Wildeye Adventures: Bushcraft & Wilderness Skills

Wildeye Adventures offers half-day, full-day and overnight courses in bushcraft and wilderness skills for families and youth (6+ years). We operate in London, Buckinghamshire and Kent, with overnight camping available in Sevenoaks, Croydon and Chalfont St. Peter. Archery activities are held in Croydon and Chalfont St. Peter.
In today’s urban world, it’s essential to balance modern life with nature. The best way to reconnect is by spending time outdoors. Learning bushcraft and survival skills fosters creativity, problem-solving and confidence, while deepening your relationship with the natural world.
A True Woodland Experience
Our courses challenge and inspire—this isn’t glamping or a walk in the park. You’ll step outside your comfort zone, experience sleeping in the woods and develop self-reliance, teamwork and creativity. Our highly experienced bushcraft instructors will guide and support you throughout, sharing survival skills, environmental knowledge, and a passion for nature. We aim to empower and inspire young people, planting seeds of curiosity and respect for the wild.

Overnight Bushcraft Camp: What to Expect

-
Arrival: 10 AM Saturday

A True Immersion in Nature
This is not a "walk in the park"—shelter building requires time, effort and teamwork. You may bring your own tent, but we encourage constructing a shelter using natural materials or tarps for a more rewarding survival experience. Hammocks (bushcraft-style) are also available if you prefer sleeping off the ground.
Develop Survival & Problem-Solving Skills
You'll work as a team to build your camp, gather wood, and sustain yourselves overnight. Survival sparks creativity, intuition, and problem-solving, pushing you to reconnect with nature.
Encouraging Solitude & Self-Reliance
After a full day of learning skills from experienced instructors, you'll be responsible for your own well-being overnight. Staff will be present in the woods but out of sight—this is your chance to embrace solitude.
Food & Cooking

-
Self-catered on Day 1 – Bring a packed lunch & an evening meal to cook over the fire.
-
Breakfast is provided at 8 AM the next morning—summoned by the sound of a Native American flute.

Discover shelter building, tarp setups, useful trees, plants, fungi and the fascinating world of woodlands. Many guests leave feeling inspired, with lifelong memories—some even go on to start environmental initiatives in their communities.
